How to approach that fun relief task.
Building instructions for the One Attachment. Built from LEGO Mindstorms EV3 parts and with an Ultrasonic sensor we've used this attachment to accomplish most of the missions at FIRST LEGO League 2013.
SIngle robot attachment, many points.
- note that I have added two angled beams and an axle to illustrate how you could use the slide as an active attachmen;
Part three of the Catapult series is about loading the catapult automatically. We use a gear system with a medium complexity along with a very interesting "clutch" developed with parts entirely from the LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits. As a result, at the end of the video, the Catapult automatically loads and fires.
This is a ping-ball containing attachment for a World Robotics Olympiad. The attachment is building with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 parts. It is tiltel so that it is easier for the balls to fall off at certain points, which was part of the missions at the 2015 cmpetition.
LEGO Mindstorms Robot Base for a high placed attachment for containing ping pong balls. It is interesting how the balance is achieved with such an attachment. It was only one of the version in a series of LEGO Mindstorms Robots for World Robotics Olympiad.
Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Active attachment for changing gear orientations
Attachment part of a series of robot attachments for accomplishing the FIRST LEGO League 2013 competition. This specific construction lifts the two vehicles. It uses rubber bands for locking the levers. Take a look at the video tutorials for details explanation on how it works.
Build from LEGO Mindstorms EV3 parts.
We want students to be able to easily find the parts and to put the parts back in the designated compartments.
Files are printed on both sides of 160-gram sheet of paper A3 format.
The sorting sheet is designed to fit in the cover of the box. To gather in the lid, the excess parts of the printed sheet must be cut off the markers on the front of the sheet.
To extend the life of the sheets, you can laminate them either with a "laminate matte" or a simple laminate. The disadvantage of the simple laminate is that there is a lot of gloss. The disadvantage of laminate matte is that it has to be sealed with a clear PVA C-200 adhesive to prevent it from opening over time.
We recommend printing doublesided and turning over the "short edge", like a book. If you decide, you may flip the printed result over the long side. Both options are available at you local print center.
Building instructions for a competition robot following the "Box robot" principle. The robot is built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and could be used at FLL and WRO.
Building instructions for this part of the BigDaddy competition robot
The rotation frame requiers an NXT large double gear wheel that is not available at the EV3 set. You can use the instructions below to construct a similar mechanism from Mindstorms EV3 set
Advanced LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Construction. It has two rear motors and it could rotate the whole from part. It has 4 wheels and is kind of like unique in the Mindstorms world.
Building instructions are not very easy and you need LEGO Education Core and Extension Sets - 45544 and 45560.
Apart from being advanced, it is also quite fun to try to build.
You can position the motors on the construction in a number of different ways. We are exploring the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. These are building instructions for the first way to position the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 motors.
A similar LEGO attachment the previous once, but this one is with a different gear ratio. Again using a frame, two axles and two gears you can change the direction of the motion.
This LEGO Mindstorms Attachment has three gears, one frame and two axles. The goal of the attachment is to use the gears to change the direction in which the motion is transferred.
One LEGO gear is powering two LEGO Gears and at the end, from one motor we rotate two axles in opposite directions. Follow the building instructions.
