In this lesson, students will build their own robot. The tasks are somewhat abstract, so it may be helpful if you explain the idea yourself. The general concept is similar to the previous two lessons: the robots detect something with their sensors, react to it, and then send a similar signal to the next robot. In this lesson, each pair of students decides which sensor to use and where to place it on their robot, so it requires some adaptation and planning.
Make sure to guide the students so they build their robots on time and do not spend too much time programming the dance itself, as both tasks could easily take too long. If any students are struggling, allow them to choose a simpler robot from earlier levels so they only need to add a small number of parts. We cannot provide a program for this lesson, but we do not anticipate any problems because it is similar to the previous two lessons.
Courses and lessons with this Tutorial
This Tutorial is used in the following courses and lessons
Level C2 - Cooperation - Robotics with LEGO SPIKE Prime
The sixth level of the Robotics with LEGO curriculum is designed for students in third or fourth grade.
For the first time, two different robots are required to solve a challenge. Students learn how to cooperate, agree on a shared plan, and divide their roles. They build a variety of robots, including a crane that loads a sorter. Students also use two sensors at the same time to locate their target and to check whether their partner robot is ready to complete its part of the challenge.

In the next lesson we usually do a graduation. Write down your impressions about the students and the reasons why they have the grades you gave them.
