It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and it demonstrates how to build a lifting attachment for competitions in robotics like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad and others. Lifting is one of the most important parts when accomplishing missions at the competitions. What's interesting is that this attachment changes the orientation of rotation with it's gears. It is designed for Luly, small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions. This is a 10 out of 10 tutorial in which the MiniBox robot accomplishes M10 and M15 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge. One run takes less than 5 seconds as the mission model is very close to the base, which is why the video is not that long.

The MiniBox is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime box robot that uses a detachable attachment to adjust the sound levels in M10 Sound Mixer and an active attachment to collect the M15 minifigure. Let's see the consistency of this robot!

Teacher's Notes: Music Box

Due to the long construction, you need to be careful with time in this lesson. Don’t let the students spend too much time building. If you think you can manage it, you may let them find their own sheet music and adapt it, but we recommend sticking to the short section from Ode to Joy as shown in the tutorial. This melody also serves as preparation for the next lesson, where a ready melody will again be needed. Here’s what the program looks like:
