Developed with LEGO Education SPIKE App Python this program is used to accomplish the Drop mission model with a Drop attachment placed on Luly, small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions.
This is the first video tutorial from the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime programming course in which we use a sensor, and we've selected to use the motion sensor. The Motion sensor allows us to detect how the robot turns in a 3-dimensional space-time continuum, or, to put it simply, we use it to move straight with the robot. That's it. We want to move straight - we use a sensor, and the Motion Sensor is a good choice.

Motors
Motors are like the "muscles" of the robot - they make it move.
LEGO SPIKE Brick
This part is called the "intelligent brick." You can think of it as the "brain" of the robot. It is a small computer where you upload your programs. It reads information from sensors and controls the motors based on your code.

This attachment is accomplishing three missions and partly one more mission from the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023. It is for the Chain Monster robot. It solve mission 6 - HYBRID CAR, mission 14 - TOY FACTORY and mission 15 - RECHARGEABLE BATTERY. It partially solves mission 2 - OIL PLATFORM.
Some students will complete all tasks very quickly and may have spare time. Extra tasks are not mandatory but are designed to fill students' time productively.

The robot uses a color sensor to detect whether the box is closed. When you open it, the robot can play music and spin something with the motor. You can build anything you like on top!
