The Setup
Let us say that we have either created the Dummy My block within our current project or imported it from another. You can download it from the bottom of the tutorial if needed. The block is the same as the one from the Create and Import My blocks tutorials.
Note: The following procedure was not possible before version1.3.0 of the EV3 Mindstorms Software.
Renaming, editing the description and changing the icon of a My block
In order to rename, edit the description or change the icon of alredy created My Block we need to select the gear like icon in the upper left corner of the My block shown on the image bellow:
This will invoke the My block builder pop up window. There you will be able to edit the name, description and icon of the block. Once you have finished, just select Finish and the block will be updated.
To illustrate the process let us say that we want to change the name of the block so that the whole name is snake case i.e. all of the words in the name are divided by underscore ("_"):

My Blocks
In this section we will learn how to create, edit, import and use My blocks. First we begin with ilustrating a use of My blocks. There is a whole group of robot constructions called steering robots. Today we will build a steering robot and learn more about the way it is driven through a differential. Then you will have to download a My block that implements the Proportional Line Following algorithm for steering robtos. You need to download, import and modify the block to fit your robot setup. Finally, you will have to create a block of your own and learn how to add parameters.
