FLL 2023: Collect, Throw, Rotation work, Push, Lift - MiniBox Box Robot accomplishing M12, M13, M15 Pro Preview

In this video tutorial, we demonstrate how to complete M12, M13, and M15 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge. We use the MiniBox, a robot built from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime.

To complete the missions, the robot rotates the chicken to trigger the M12 Virtual Reality Artist, pushes the M13 Craft Creator to release the creation, and collects the M15 LEGO minifigure. After completing all tasks, the robot detaches its attachment and leaves it on the field for a faster change at the base. Let's take a look!

In this video tutorial, we accomplish three missions from FIRST LEGO League 2023 MASTERPIECE. We collect this human with a loop. We do some rotation work, where we rotate the chicken on this mission model. And we push, we pull on a single mission model to accomplish it. For this, we use the MiniBox robot with a very interesting attachment. Attachment that accomplishes all the three missions, four actions at the same time. Also, at the end of the run, the attachment will be left right there, next to the mission model. It's a detachable attachment. Let's see how it goes. Start. Move. Accomplish the missions. Leave the attachment. It's just perfect. It's worth seeing this from a different angle. Again: move, reach the mission models, accomplish the missions, and leave the attachment on the field. In this shot, we are doing a close-up view of how exactly the attachment works. Here, we must do some rotation work, but instead of pulling and pushing, we are rotating this small gear, which is a really interesting way to accomplish this mission. Here is the attachment, and with the robot, we move and we connect the gear wheels on the attachment with the gear wheels on the mission model. Then we rotate, and as as we rotate, we do the rotation work that's required to accomplish the mission. Quite interesting. Take this as a principle. Use it in your attachment to have more fun accomplishing missions on the competition. Another close shot of how exactly it works. We move, we connect. You can see the rotation work that we do there. Move back. Hope this is helpful, and I'll see you in the next tutorial.
