This is the second version of the EV3 Easy Bot. The robot is used in classes with students as one of the first robots to be built. Easy to follow and to arrive at a construction even for first-time students.
In this video tutorial we will show you three ways for making your robot stable on the field. We will present each one of them with their advantages and disadvantages - it's up to you to choose which one is the best for your case.
The third part of the series the goal is to extend the robot attachment so that we could solve the second part of the FIRST LEGO League World Class mission challenge - to take the loop.
The previous rubber bands video showed a way to trigger the rubber band without a motor. This video gives one more idea on how to lift an axle and in this way release the rubber band. Use the idea for you LEGO Mindstorms robot constructions.

Building instructions for the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Catapult. The robot has a motor, a clutch to control it for manual shooting and a touch sensor for automatic loading. The bottom base is removed which means the Catapult could not be turned around. Nevertheless, the baseless robot is small enough to be built in class.
This robot is designed to easily lift a cup while still holding it upright. With its motor attached to the side of the hub, the robot can lift the cup to any angle you want. You could replace the LEGO cup and make it lift real cups with a few adjustments. Be careful around liquids though, the robot doesn't like beverages like you do!
