The Absolute Value is part of the Functions block, which is the last block in the green Operators palette.

The Functions block contains many different functions. It has two inputs: the function you want to use and the value you want to apply it to. For this tutorial, we will focus on abs(), or absolute value. This function returns the value of a number without its sign—negative numbers become positive, and positive numbers stay positive. In the example image, the movement speed would be set to 50 instead of -50.
