This Tutorial is used in the following courses and lessons
FIRST LEGO League 16 classes x 45 minutes prepare guide. Robot and project (in progress)
The goal of this course is to help teachers, mentors and teams with a week by week schedule of how they could approach the FLL season if they have about 16 weeks, each week one class of 45 minutes. This course is complimentary to the already existing structure of Prepare for FIRST LEGO League Robot Game. The complete guide. The course gives an example of a structure based on weeks and classes.
The course also makes a few suggestions about the innovation project and how it could be approached.

Introduction
Intro to competition rules and innovation project.
Look at the FIRST LEGO League Pack with instructions and classes.
Introduce the rules for the local competition - continuous assessment from the classes plus the result from the competition.
At the end of the class:
Students understand the rules of all missions along with the rules of the innovation project and have discussed preliminary ideas for strategy on how the robot missions could be accomplished. They have selected 5-6 missions that would be the easiest to start with and approach.
Students understand the requirements they must meet in order to be a part of the final team.
