By using the GamePad to control the arm with could lift it and return it back. The main problem with controlling the arm is that if you just use the motors you would hit the robot, bend the axles and breaks the gear wheels. We would use the distance sensor to make the arm move without hitting the robot.

This is an EV3-G project that contains two programs implementing an Integral compensation - integral part of the PID algorithm. The first program is for a Five Minute Bot and the second program is for Box Robot. The things that you should be careful when using the program for your robot are the direction of the motors in the steering block; whether the motors in the steering block are written as "B+C" or "C+B" and the coefficients in the two math blocks. The coefficients that we've chosen should work for most of the robots, but will probably not work for some of them. This Program controls the Module With Aligning Attacher for M08 - Aerobic Exercise. This is a demo program to show how to move robot acurately to the modul. Also how to attach the robot to the modul and acomplish the mission.
This program is a basic version of the game played with EV3 Kinesthetic and Memory Game. For the program to work correctly, there must be one ultrasonic module attached to port 4, one color module attached to port 3, and one gyro module attached to port 2. The other modules are not required from this program.
In this video tutorial we use the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Motion Sensor to reach a mission model on the field. It's a basic use of the motion sensor that we will extend in the next few tutorials and in the same time we take the opportunity to demonstrate what a MyBlock is and how to develop one. As a result of this video you will learn how to make the program easier to read and maintain by organizing the blocks in the program in special MyBlocks that couple them all together.
In this program we demonstrate the difference between moving the robot fast and slow. After starting the program, you can press the right button to see the robot move fast, or you can press the left button to see the robot move slow. The program runs indefinitely, so you can keep testing the robot, without restarting the program. Make sure the robot has stopped moving before you press any button.

In this program we demonstrate how to use the built-in motion sensor of the SPIKE brick to program the robot to move forward. We implemented a type of duck walking forward movement. To get a more smooth movement, you can try lowering the turn angles from 95.

In this program we demonstrate how to program a SPIKE robot to execute a faster and more accurate turn. You can press the right button to see how the robot executes a 90-degree turn with the aid of acceleration, to improve accuracy. After that, you can press the left button to see the robot turn fast with to acceleration, overshoot the target angle, and then return slowly back to it. That way, the robot reaches the target angle faster and more accurately. This method is useful for larger turns when time is limited. For smaller turns, it may cause the opposite effect. Since the robot, this program was made for, is a little tilted, the angle it is programmed to turn to is changed a little to compensate for the tilt.

The goal of this course is to help you learn how to program LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robots to operate consistently and reliably in competition settings. We use LEGO Education SPIKE App Word Blocks, a Scratch-based programming language, to teach key techniques applicable to FIRST LEGO League and World Robot Olympiad competitions. Topics covered include different methods for line following, such as fast, slow, smooth, and using multiple states, as well as techniques for line alignment, double alignment, and maintaining a straight path using the motion sensor.
