This is an attachment trigger from the robot inertial. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and it demonstrates how to move with the robot, stop, the attachment activates and it collects a few parts. The goal of the attachment is to collect parts from the field without the use of any motors. It is an easy and quick way to build an attachment for FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad and other robotics competition. The principle is the same. This is the Prime Power Switch mission as we've designed it for FLLCasts Off-season Challenge. It it a useful mission to accomplish with different attachments and approaches. The mission is to rotate the lever of the mission model.

The Bench mission in FIRST LEGO League 2020 was one of the more complex missions during the competition. It involved two things - lifting part of the mission model and bringing it back to base and in the same time dropping 4 different boxes which was difficult to achieve. We came up with two solutions for SPIKE Prime and for Robot Inventor and this is the Robot Inventor solution. Take a look. Do you like playing bowling? How about playing it with a Mindstorms 51515 Robot Inventor set? Well, these are the building instructions for the bowling pins and "playground". In order to play bowling with a robot, you'll first have to build one. This particular construction was created to be used with Tricky - the smallest Inventor robot - and its Kick the ball attachment. You could later spice things up and try to play it with the Turning attachment for Tricky.

Here are the building instructions for the Turning attachment for Tricky - the Mindstorms 51515 Robot Inventor robot. Tricky might be the smallest robot, built with this set, but it will surprise you with its abilities to spin the ball. If you build this Turning attachment for Tricky, you could try to play a crazy little bowling game with it. As the robot is spinning the ball, you can program it to move forward and then stop, so the ball could go forward (hopefully towards the bowling pins). You can play to see who will be the first to make a strike. The Mindstorms/Duplo ball and the bowling pins are included in the set.

Go, robot, grab the ball!

If you want to have some fun and play some ball grabbing with your Mindstorms Robot Inventor 51515 set, these are the building instructions you'll need. As you probably know, Tricky is the smallest robot made from this set. With this ball grabbing attachment, you could program Tricky to grab the Mindstorms/Duplo ball, which is included in the set, and place it wherever you want.
