Let's build a robot with treads. These building instructions are for a Guard Tank Robot. The good thing about tanks is that they could tackle a lot of obstacles on their way. At least this is what people are saying. Try it. Could you move over LEGO parts with this tank if they are one brick tall, or two bricks tall? What would be the largest obstacle that you could find, over which this tank could still move? Share a video or picture below in the comments section.

We would admit that this tank lacks a gun or an arm, but it is up to you to build one.

Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms animal that looks like a Penguin, and walks like a penguin and if you program it, it will even talk like a penguin. Can you program it to talk like a penguin?

Don't we all love animals? But it is sometimes difficult to have a puppy at home. Presenting to you - the Puppy robot (drums in the back). It has some of the benefits of a Puppy - it is small, it can follow you with the Ultrasonic Sensor and it can bark (if you program it to). Follow the building instructions. Use it at home or at class.

It's fast. It's on two wheels. It's a motorcycle. And this one is built from LEGO Mindstorms EV3 sets with the use of one additional Medium Motor. If you have two medium motors, great. If you don't have you can build the  Handlebar - Chopper Motorcycle built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3, because it uses one large and one medium motor that are available in any EV3 set.

Currently, the motorcycle has no sensors. It's more of an exercise in construction, but if you attach sensors and think of a way to attach them send us a picture.

Again a LEGO animal. This time it looks like an ant. It's interesting that this robot has no wheels and moves in a way very different from the rest of the "wheel robots". 

There is much to be learned about mechanics from the way animals move. Ants are a good example. In the real world, an ant could carry a load of 20x its mass. It would be interesting to see how much load could this robot carry? Try it. 

This is a version of the Midas - a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Clam robot. The main difference between the two robots is that the motors are flipped. 

The robot uses two Large Mindstorms EV3 Motors to open and close its shell. There are four hoses on the top of the shell which can be reshaped to form different shell styles. It also uses two black bent beams for eyebrows that can be moved to change the expression of the clam. A Castor Ball is used to represent its pearl.

This is the base module of EV3 Kinesthetic and Memory Game. The goal of this module is to present a variety of places for the rest of the modules to be attached.

Barco from spanish means boat.

The robot is made to look like a sail ship. The sails are made out of technic panels, attached in various ways to create the best look. Otherwise the robot uses two motors with tyres to move. At the back of the robot there is a Gyro sensor, which helps it maneuver.

This robot is a simplified spinoff of the Box Robots (Box Robot 1 and Box Robot 2). It may be build with a single set, but it will require extra technic beams 7x5 with open centers.

The name of the robot - "Squmo" is derived from the ancient tradition of connecting two words to make on and hense - "Square sumo" because "Squmo". 

We love bears. These are great creatures. Do you know that the Polar Bear is the largest bear there is. 

This robot was first constructed years ago for some of the first classes in LEGO Mindstorms Robotics that we held. It is quite challenging, but nevertheless very rewarding when completed and when you manage to program it to walk. Check it out. 

Yolanda comes from the novel "Yolanda, the Black Corsair's Daughter" by Emilio Salgari.

The robot resembles a sailship with two masts. The mast in the back is connected to a medium motor, which allows it to rotate with some limits. The mast also has a gyro sensor in the back. These are placed so that the gyro sensor detects which way "the wind is blowing" and moves the sails that way. The second mast is connected to the first one so that it moves accordingly. The robot also uses two large motors to move.

Susan comes from Sue, which is the name of the largest fully preserved specimen of T-Rexes.
Mark comes from Marc Bolan, who is the lead singer/gutarist of the band T-Rex.

The robot is made to resemble a T-Rex (Susan) chasing a car (Mark).

The T-Rex uses a Large motor to go forward and backward. The other Large motor is used for the car, which resembles a very simple 4-wheel vechicle. Susan's task is to spot Mark using the current power option of the motor rotation sensor. As T-Rexes can not notice you if you are moving very slow, Mark is trying his best to move really slow so that he doesn't get spotted!

Larvy is a SPIKE Prime robot, that moves like a larva or caterpillar. The robot has a Large motor, that contracts and expands it! Using the two medium motors, it turns 4 tyres to their side and upright whenever it wants, so that it can move forward!

Motorka, from Czech, means motorbike. Motorka is a motorbike with 3 tyres. Two at the back and one that steers the bike! The two at the back are powered by two medium motors and the one at the front - by one large motor. The robot uses various parts from the base set to look like a motorbike, for instance, at the front it has a color sensor that is used for the light of the motorbike!

This module is meant to be used in EV3 Kinesthetic and Memory Game and is attached to the base of the robot. This is the simplest module for constructing and programming. At the bottom, a channel is left for the cable to pass through.

Instructions for building a LEGO truck. We use a medium motor for steering and a large motor for driving one of the rear wheels.

This is the third version of the LEGO Mindstorms Grabber. This time we use a LEGO EV3 Medium motor and worm gear to make the two levers move smoothly and symmetrically.

This is a LEGO Mindstorms Boxing robot. The inspiration story goes like this "One day we though - Let's play SUMO at this robotics demonstration, but let's make it more interesting. Let's play sumo with Humanoid Robots". We decided to build a boxing robot. The goal of the robot is to press the touch sensor on the other robot and it could be very fun. Perfect robot for demonstration. It is controlled by a joystick using the Bluetooth connection.
