Two missions in one. This attachment accomplishes the Hydrodynamics Fountain and Faucet missions from the FIRST LEGO League Hydrodynamics 2017-2018 competitions. The attachment shows a really interesting and widely used approach of a single attachment that is used for two, three and even more missions. This is a standard practice for many of the advanced teams, especially those that reach the finals. The based of the robot is the LEGO Box Robot Three With Large Wheels and Thee light sensors and one Gyro 

This is an attachment trigger from the robot inertial. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and it demonstrates how to move with the robot, stop, the attachment activates and it collects a few parts. The goal of the attachment is to collect parts from the field without the use of any motors. It is an easy and quick way to build an attachment for FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad and other robotics competition. The principle is the same. Background

Incredible engineering accomplishments like space travel come about in steps. And many huge, progressive sub-goals need to be met before we can forever leave earth and live to tell about it!

Mission

The robot needs to send payload rockets (carts) rolling down the space travel ramp. The first cart is preset and ready to go, but the robot needs to load the other two from the base.

Scores

• Vehicle payload rolled down the space travel ramp: 22
• Supply payload rolled down the space travel ramp: 14
• Crew payload rolled down the space travel ramp: 10
• Possible scores: 0, 10, 14, 22, 24, 32, 36, 46

Scoring Requirements

• For each roll, the cart must be independent by the time it reaches the first track connection ramp. > Note: Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• Start each payload clearly rolling down the space travel ramp. > Note: Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• As a mission requirement in any mission, the word “independent” means “not in contact with any of your equipment. > As long as the cart clearly rolls independently past the first track connection, it’s okay if it doesn’t roll all the way east.

Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 active attachment for changing gears orientations. This is the third attachment from the series.

Probably the largest multi-purpose FLL attachment at FLLCasts. These attached is doing a number of missions at once. 4 of them. You attach it to the robot and start the program. The robot moves and accomplishes a number of missions using only this attachment. At it also has a lot of parts. It is quite large and you can not build it from a single set. But that's ok because you are preparing for a competition, right?

This is a robot attachment that could be used to push/pull object. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and could be used in competitions in robotics like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad. The goal of the attachment is to demonstrate the principle and example of an attachment for pushing and pulling that could be placed on the robot. For the FIRST LEGO League 2016-2017 Animal Allies we prepared an attachment for lifting the robot. The idea of the attachment is to show how you could lift the whole robot with a system of gear wheels, levers, and scissors constructions.

Built mainly from LEGO Mindstorms EV3 parts but could probably be constructed from NXT sets.

Background

Space stations allow us to learn about and even practice living in space, but improved technology and new international partners require modules to be easily interchangeable.

Mission

The robot needs to remove and insert modules among the habitation hub’s portholes.

Scores

• Move the cone module completely into the base: 16
• Insert the tube module into the habitation hub port, west side: 16
• Transfer/insert the docking module into the habitation hub port, east side: 14
• Possible scores: 0, 16, 32, 46

Scoring Requirements

• Results must be visible at the end of the match.
• Inserted modules must not be touching anything except the habitation hub. > Needs to be visible at the end of the match.

Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Active attachment for changing gear orientations

This attachment accomplishes the Into Orbit Space Walk Emergency mission from the FIRST LEGO League Into Orbit 2017-2018 competitions. The base robot is the SUV Competition Box Robot from LEGO Mindstorms EV3.

Maze Runners are one of the very popular robotics competitions. But there are a lot of limits that the robots must comply with. Like the size of the robot. 

This here are building instructions for a very small maze runner robot, build with LEGO Mindstorms EV3. It uses two tires that are technic and not Mindstorms simply because none of the Mindstorms tires fit the size limit. 

The robot has an Ultrasonic sensor and a Gyro sensor at the top.

Building instructions for a Light LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Competition Robot that could be used in LEGO Robotics competitions. Compared with previous versions of this robot, this one has a Gyro Sensor. 

The NXT Competition robot was the first competition robot we designed. For most of the part in 2011-2012-2013 it was working really great. Than EV3 was released

Kiril Mitov's most favourite attachment. To quote him "I had a really great fun building this attachment and recording the videos for it".

It's an attachment with a Rubber band and a Flywheel and a Gear Wheel and a Worm Gear. So much knowledge in just one small attachment. The goal of the attachment is to be able to have an active attachment without actually having a motor. So you can place that attachment and it will do the work for you instead of using a motor to power it.
