The current tutorial is about three missions at once on a single run with the robot. Most FIRST LEGO League teams try to accomplish one-two missions on a single run out of the base, and three is really what makes the difference

This is a 10 out of 10 tutorial in which the Minibox robot accomplishes the M12, M13, and M15 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge competition. The Minibox is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime box robot that uses detachable attachments.

In this run, the robot performs five actions: it collects the M15 minifigure and throws it backward, rotates the chicken for M12, and then pushes and pulls the M13 Craft Creator mission model. All of these actions are completed in under 15 seconds!

These are the Wind Turbine, where we have to push 3-4 times and collect the energy units, the Watch Television, where we reach the mission model and slightly push, and, of course, the Rechargeable Battery - where we collect the energy units.

This is a recording of a completely perfect, 10 out of 10 accomplishment of a two-part mission - Train tracks, from the FIRST LEGO League 2021-2022 Cargo Connect competition. Due to the proper use of motion and color/light sensors, the robot is 100% consistent and reliable for a non-trivial mission. Even when the robot makes a mistake, it auto-corrects and compensates for this mistake.

This tutorial explains the use of motion and light/color sensors to accomplish a complex mission split into three parts. It gets into detail about how we keep a straight line with the motion sensor, follow a line with the color sensors, and transition between different parts of the program by aligning and detecting lines with the sensor. The goal is to get to a reliable and consistent behavior of the robot. I think this pattern of missions was first introduced with the growing abilities of the participating students that were constantly reaching the maximum number of points.
