Pictures and videos
Take pictures of your robots and record videos of your robots solving the task.
Log out from your FLLCasts profile
It is very important to log out from your profile when you use public computers. Otherwise, somebody might steal your Facebook, email or Skype profile.
When you stop using these websites, you should go to your profile and select logout.
Close all computer programs
ПBefore you shut down your computer, you should close all programs you have used. Usually, these are the Internet browser and the programming program.
You can save your robot programs on the computer’s hard drive although this usually is not necessary. If you save them, never use the desktop as your desired location but use a file in My Documents section.
Shut down your computer
You should not turn off your computer by the button you use to switch it on. You should usually use the shutdown button on the start menu. Ask your teacher to show you how to do it according to your operational system.
Disassemble the robot and sort the LEGO pieces
In lesson one we introduced you to the ordering tables contained in every box. Now, put all pieces in their respective places.
Arrange your workplace
It is important to arrange all the electronics on the cover of the box.
Wind the programming cable so that it is assembled.
Put the robot cables next to the electronics.
Wind the mouse cable around the mouse.
Wrap the cable of the laptop charger in a way that your teacher will show you.
When you turn off the computer, leave it next to the robot box.
Put your chair under the desk
We want to have enough space to walk around in the classroom which is why you have to put your chair under the desk.
