This attachment is part of a second version of attachments for accomplishing the M07, M08 and M15 where we have to push and collect in the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 competition. It is for the Kriket Box Robot and we are doing this second version to make sure there are enough examples of how to use the Kriket box robot.

The interesting part about this attachment is how it connects to the robot. The Kriket has two brown axles that are connected to the motors via a gear mechanism. The attachment is attached to these brown axles which transfer the motor movement to the attachment.

This is the third type of an active geared attachment. "Active" means that is is power by a motor. "Geared" means that it uses gears. "Reusable" means that you can easily extend the attachment with additional parts - eg - you can reuse it. It shows a basic principle of how power is transferred between different axles that have different orientation in space - like when one of the axles is horizontal and the other is vertical. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and could be used in competitions in robotics like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad and others. It's designed for Luly, small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions. This is the Prime Power Switch mission as we've designed it for FLLCasts Off-season Challenge. It it a useful mission to accomplish with different attachments and approaches. The mission is to rotate the lever of the mission model.

This is the attachment of Team "Nightbeast", with which they :

Background

Mission

Move the push bar the right distance at the right speed, to get into the green scoring range.

• Spin the food growth chamber’s colours so the grey weight is DROPPED after green, but before tan, by moving the push bar: 16
• Possible scores: 0, 16

Scoring Requirements

• The result must be visible at the end of the match.
• Spin the food growth chamber’s colors must be spun by moving the push bar. > Only allowed method. Must be oberserved by the referee.

A chassis built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 parts designed for World Robotics Olympiad

This attachment presents a way to mechanically align the robot to a mission model and solves the Cloud mission from FLL 2014. 

This frame holds the motor and ev3 brick used in the catapult. The frame is placed on top of the rotating base and thus could be easily rotated. The brick could be both NXT and EV3

The Laboratory is a robot that tests your programming skills. You will have to measure the volume of a balloon, only by the values you receive from the sensors. 

It has a valve, that allows you to deflate your balloon at different rates.

This is the robot that we use to demonstrate a solution for competition. This is a Post season solution. We never release any solutions during the season as this will have a negative impact on the competition. But after the competition we try to make a review and to see how we could have accomplish it. Our goal is to be better for next year.

This robot is quite powerful. The attachment mechanism on the front is one of a kind as it can do several things with a single motor: it can lift, it can unlock, it can grab. All of this thanks to the unique mechanism of gears

If you build Tricky with this particular Basketball attachment and grab the Mindstorms/Duplo ball, which is included in the set, you'll unlock a whole new level in playing basketball at home. Oh no, the delivery is running late! Don't worry, this warehouse robot made to hold and drag objects is here to help! It uses two medium motors to move around and one for a grabber. The grabber, which is at the front of the robot, consists of two double angular lift-arms that are each connected to a gear.

This is a module containing two sets of three legs to make the ideal hexapod insect! The two sets are each powered by a large EV3 motor which are connected in various ways to the three legs to move them like a real bug! You can combine this module with others to build a bug robot.
