Another example for a quick pinless attachment build with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots.
This is the robot that we use to demonstrate a solution for competition. This is a Post season solution. We never release any solutions during the season as this will have a negative impact on the competition. But after the competition we try to make a review and to see how we could have accomplish it. Our goal is to be better for next year.
This robot is quite powerful. The attachment mechanism on the front is one of a kind as it can do several things with a single motor: it can lift, it can unlock, it can grab. All of this thanks to the unique mechanism of gears
Oh no, the delivery is running late! Fortunately, this warehouse robot is designed to grab and transport objects, making it the perfect helper.
The robot uses two medium motors for movement and a third medium motor to operate its grabber. Located at the front of the robot, the grabber is made from two double angular liftarms, each connected to a gear. This mechanism allows the robot to open and close its pincer to securely pick up and move boxes around the warehouse.

Do you have a friend for a sleepover? This might be the perfect robot for you! It is a football gate, guarded by Fint, the goalkeeper robot. You can control him, by using the remote controller, that consists of two Touch Sensors. Take turns making penalty shots and have a blast with this awesome robot!
What we recommend:
Probably the simples trick for pinless attachments that we've found. It is a construction build in just three steps. Simple as that. But it has a lot of potential to teach you how to use pinless attachments. Pinless attachments are very useful during FIRST LEGO League and World Robot Olympiad competitions.
These are 3D Building instructions for the Oil Platform. You can build them from Bag 2
This module is made as a grabber that uses a cool mechanism to catch things vertically. It is powered by a medium motor. The grabber is used in Earl Bot - Grabbing and Clearing LEGO Mindstorms Robot without wheels.
This is the attachment of Team "Nightbeast", with which they solve M01 and M02 from FLL Into Orbit Challenge
Mintonette comes from the first iteration of Volleyball with the same name.
The robot uses two EV3 Touch sensors to control the turret left and right. It uses the EV3 Color sensor to trigger the shooting mechanism, which consists of an EV3 Large motor which pulls a lever to shoot a ball.
Instructions for building remote control. It uses the rotation sensor to determine the steering and touch sensor for handling the movement. Find building instructions for a suitable chassis here.
Together the controller and the car look like this:
