Safe built from LEGO EV3

Building instructions for a safe mechanism. The medium motor can be used for dialing in the key lock. The brick buttons can also be used for a pin code input.

One of the large motors unlocks the latch, the other one opens up the lid of the safe.

This is the fifth level of the Robotics with LEGO curriculum for students in fifth to twelfth grades.

In this level students will learn how to work with data measured by the sensors. The concept of Algorithm is introduced and the programs perform calculations without knowing the values beforehand. The programming blocks transfer data between each other via data wires. The robots are designed to address the problems of security systems. Variety of alarm systems are built and the physical principles of different security methods are considered.

В днешното занятие ще построим сейф и ще се упражняваме да разбиваме чужди комбинации за заключване на сейфа. За съхранение на комбинациите ще използваме нов тип променлива - масив.

Цветни LEGO топки или нещо друго, което да бъде заключено в сейфа (личен телефон; някаква награда, или друго).
