This program is developed with LEGO Education SPIKE App Word Blocks and is used to make the Luly, small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions stop at a distance from the border field.
This course presents Solutions and Review of the FIRST LEGO League 2020-2021 RePlay competition. We do such a course every year after the competition. By moving through the course lessons, building the robot and attachment and completing the missions you will learn how to achieve FLL mission following good engineering principles for building robots, attachments and developing programs. Upon completion of the course you will have many new ideas about how to approach mission on every FLL robotics competition and how to help your team score more points.
With this 10 runs we demonstrate the consistency and reliability that could be achieved with a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot and a 2-states simple line following algorithm. It is not bad. This is a 10 out of 10 video tutorial that demonstrates the consistency and reliability of the robot that accomplishes the Unlock Cargo Plane mission. The attachment is an active attachment with gear wheels. It has a single lever constructed from 2 beans and we use this attachment to push on the mission model.
This video tutorial demonstrates an attachment that flips a mission model. The mission model is attached to the field, but it contains a lever. This lever must be flipped from one side to the other. There is a switch. We use a pinless active attachment with gear wheels, and you can see how this works in the tutorial. There is no use of sensors as we don't need them. We will leave the alignment and positioning for some other tutorials.
This attachment was intended for and tested on the Gazon, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot. It is meant to help the robot complete the 13th mission of the FLL Cargo Connect competition.
