We should all know how to follow a line in the most simple way possible. If the sensor detects that it is not above a line, the robot turns to the line. If the sensor detects that it is over the line, it turns away from it. But let's do this with a Switch Block.
Follow an object using the LEGO Mindstorms Ultrasonic Sensor. Object moves away, the robot moves with the object. The program is very useful if you are doing STEM classes and you want to demonstrate results. People react very well to a robot following you like a dog for example.
You've seen the gyro sensor. It has two arrow. How does it work? What does it do?
This is a cool scissor mechanism that looks like the sting of a scorpion. It is powered by a medium motor and at the top there is a touch sensor, to detect if something has been stung! The sting is used in Scorpion - LEGO EV3 Robot.
This is a third example for adding an active attachment. This third attachment is now connected to the wheel at the front of the robot. Again, the attachment could be easily extended.
