Not all LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robot should be aligned horizontally or vertically. It is quite possible to have the brick and the motors attached in such a way that the robot is at a certain angle.
This is a very useful small construction that could be used as a base and extended with hands and heads or other interesting ....robot body parts.
This construction uses a differential. Both wheels could turn with different speed and this makes a construction much more stable when turning.
Sometimes, it may happen that the value passed to a switch statement block does not match any of the foreseen cases. Which case of the switch is going to be executed? None? The first one?
We keep the robot orientation straight while moving, but when we stop the robot could be in a different orientation. This applies for both using the Mindstorms Gyro Sensor when moving straight or the Mindstorms Color sensor when following a line. This program is a basic version of the game played with EV3 Kinesthetic and Memory Game. For the program to work correctly, there must be one ultrasonic module attached to port 4, one gyro module attached to port 2 and one color module attached to port 3. The other modules are not required from this program.
