Prepare the apk offline in advance on your phone. If the internet connection does not work that you could just share the apk with the students through Bluetooth. It is a simple file.

What is an Apk
Remember the .exe files for Windows operating systems. The apk is very close to an exe file. It is an executable file that you could download on your phone. It contains that code of the application. This code is written in the Java Programming language. The file itself is an archive with some special metadata in it. Here the analogy for the students is that the same way they download and install games on their PC, they could also download, distribute, share and installs Apks. Not everything on the Android phone has to come from the Google Play Store. The Android Operating system is more open that this.
