EV3 Basic Course. Introduction to robot programming, construction and sensor use
English
The next task I would like to suggest to you connected with moving on a competition field is actually to make the robot move as precise as possible, without any sensors. So it's up to you, you can modify the construction, you can build a different construction, you can use different wheels, different tires, you can do whatever you want. But the goal is to have your robot move for 3, 4, 5 rotations forward, then turn, then move for 3, 4, 5 rotations forward and then return back to initial position. And when you program the robot to do this you need to make an experiment to see "I start from this point, I start the program and then I return to another point" And we measure the difference between the starting point and the ending point. If the difference is very small, this means that you've accomplished the task. How small - if you have a difference less than half an inch which is about a cm. Then we'll consider that you've accomplished the task. So this is the first task. The next one is a little bit more challenging and there is a third task. Check out all the tasks in the description of the video.
Then build a program, record a video and share the video with us, below in the comments or just below the video. Now, one thing I forgot to mention is, if you are working in groups so as a team of 2, 3, 5, doesn't matter. If you are working as a team, record the video as a team, do the different programs as a team. And you can share the same video from different accounts so that we know that you've worked on this. Even if you're working with a team record and share, so that we can give you more feedback.

EV3 Basic Course. Introduction to robot programming, construction and sensor use
This course is designed for students, mentors and teachers that are completely new to LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots and would like to start using them to learn, in classes or at competitions. It is quite different from previously built resources at FLLCasts because it makes no assumption on any previous knowledge and tries to introduce everything step-by-step.

Build and Move
Based on your feedback we've build a course for introducing new students to the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 programming and construction. It is designed for school groups, competition teams and students alone in home that can get our feedback on their progress
