Introducing Kufar! In Bulgarian, Kufar means "suitcase," and just like a suitcase, this robot is easy to "pack" with different attachments for each task.

Unlike traditional box robots, Kufar is an "out-of-box" design, enabling fast, easy attachment swaps. This flexibility allows teams to build a new chassis with customized attachments for each run, making transitions quick but requiring more parts and careful handling due to its gear transmission, which can sometimes cause gear slippage or play.

To improve precision, Kufar’s gear transmission is optimized for lower speeds. Kufar also includes a color sensor to detect specific colored bricks on attachments and a force sensor to start corresponding programs. With two motors for movement and one for attachments, Kufar is compact, efficient, and easy to handle, especially with its sturdy top handle.

The offset beam creates a hook-like motion when rotating the gear, making "hooking" in loops an easy task.

This attachment is accomplishing four missions from the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024. It is for the Chain Monster Robot. It solve mission 3 - Immersive Experience. It partially solves mission 14 - Audience delivery and mission 15 - Expert delivery by delivering Izzy the Skateboarder to the Skate Park and Emily the Visual Effects Director in Cinema.

This attachment accomplishes three missions from the FIRST LEGO League MASTERPIECE. It is for the Chain Monster Robot. It accomplishes Mission 10 - Sound Mixer. It also partially accomplishes Mission 14 - Audience Delivery.

A FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 attachment for the MiniBox Robot.

This attachment is designed to keep the model from coming undone when dropped from a higher distance. It was done so that the robot could use a higher-position attachment to deliver the model while using lower-placed attachments to solve other missions in the same run.

A FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 attachment for the MiniBox Robot.

This attachment is designed to detach, once it completes its purpose. This is done, so that the team loses less time switching attachments in the base, lowering the chance of human error during the competition.

Luly is a new STEAM competition robot from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime. We would use in some of the courses. This version of Luly have some light shields to protect the color sensor from ambient light. Check out the courses below and see how Luly is used to complete in a competition.

Attachment used to transfer the motion from the motor from a vertical axle to a horizontal axle. Uses two gear wheels. Could be built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and LEGO Mindstorms NXT kits.

No need for all attachments to be powered by motors and to include gears. It's sometimes possible to use a simple robot attachment to collect objects. Such attachments we call passive and this one is an example for the Box Robot Chassis.
