Building Instructions -

Background

Soon after a launch, rocket engines often separate away from spacecraft by design, but that’s long before the spacecraft leaves the pull of gravity. So why doesn’t the spacecraft fall back to earth?

Mission

The robot needs to impact the strike pad hard enough to keep the spacecraft from dropping back down.

Scores

• Get the spacecraft to go so fast and high that it stays up, by pressing/hitting the strike pad: 24
• Possible scores: 0, 24

Scoring Requirements

• The result must be visible at the end of the match.
• Activate the spacecraft by pressing/hitting the strike pad. > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.

These are 3D Building Instructions for the Augmented Reality Statue mission model for the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE competition.

Building instruction for the power switch mission model. The model is used in the Power supply mission of FLLCasts Off-season Challenge 2019.

This is a Material supplementing the Instructors training course. Attached is our methodology for working with students. If you spend some time to read it beforehand, we can discuss only the questions that you have, instead of listening to the whole thing. That will be a more efficient usage of our time in the training.

This is a disk image containing a Raspbian OS. The image is modified and set up specifically for the Perfect course. It contains all the needed files, libraries and additional tools that we would use in the course. The file is quite large so be prepared to wait some time while downloading.

These are 3D Building Instructions for M05 Shark mission model for the FIRST LEGO League 2024-2025 SUBMERGED competition. You can also check out the alternative mission model for Shark for additional building possibilities.

This attachment is accomplishing three missions and partly two more missions from the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023. It is for the Chain Monster robot

These are 3D Building Instructions for the Light Show mission model for the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE competition.

We use this attachment to demonstrate the principle of an active attachment. This is an attachment activated from the motor. It has one level attached to it. It could be reused. The attachment transfers power from the motor to the end of the lever and we can accomplish missions like the Power Switch mission from the FLLCasts Off-season mission models.

These are instructions on how to build the:

You can find more building instructions and tips and tricks about the competition on this page.

This is the Little Truckie, but upgraded with an arm so it can teach you to be a good driver with lager number of controls. Now you can drive it and lift things at the same time.

The programs for controlling Truckie are at:

Truckie - Easy To Drive VEX IQ Program for Modkit

Truckie Hard To Drive VEX IQ Program for Modkit

Advanced Truckie - Easy To Drive Advanced VEX IQ Program for Modkit

This is the joystick for controlling Real Steel LEGO Boxing Robot. We use the bluetooth connection for communication between the two bricks.

It's a VEX IQ robot base with all VEX IQ Sensors. The robot has 1 x Gyro, 1 x Ultrasonic, 1x Color Sensor, 2 x Toch Sensors, 1 x Touch Led Sensor.

Background

The chance of a “serious” meteoroid hitting earth in our lifetime is extremely low, but it’s not zero, and the devastation could truly wipe us out. How will scientists and engineers keep us safe?

Mission

From west of the free-line, send one or both meteoroids independently to the meteoroid catcher. “Independently”: see also M01, Section “Scoring Requirements”.

Scores

• Meteoroid(s) touch(es) the mat in the centre section of the meteoroid catcher: 12 each
• Meteoroid(s) touch(es) the mat in either side section of the meteoroid catcher: 8 each
• Possible scores: 0, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24

Scoring Requirements

• The result must be visible at the end of the match.
• The meteoroids need to be sent over the free-line to touch the mat in the meteoroid catcher > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• The meteoroids must be hit/released while they are clearly and completely west of the free-line. > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• While between hit/release and scoring position, the meteoroid must be clearly independent. > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• If ever the ring-set meteoroid is off its ring, you may remove the ring from the field by hand. This is a special exception to the rules.
