Big Wheelster, as the name suggests, is a robot with a big wheel! The large wheel is built using SPIKE Prime baseplates. The robot also features an interesting steering mechanism. At the front, we’ve added a touch sensor to detect obstacles—and hopefully avoid them!
Dwell is a car built with a LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 set. It uses the medium motor for powering the back wheel and one more medium motor for rotating the front wheels and thus turning. Of course, there is a differential at the back.

Winter might be far away or it might just be coming - depending of course on where you are in the world. But you can always spend a few hours having fun with a LEGO Mindstorms Snowmobile. A really challenging construction that requires good preparation, concentration and a lot of efforts to complete. Same is going to the mountain in the winter. But the reward at the end is worth it.

This robot extends the Tetrix Box Robot chassis for FTC competitions with an additional arm. The arm could be used for lifting and placing objects and could be quite useful.
There is a special rubber band at the end of the arm, because there are not enough parts in the Tetrix set and we had to use a rubber band. But the principle of the arm is interesting, useful and you should be familiar with it - the arm keeps the motors always in the right orientation.
For rovers in other worlds, getting stuck is definitely not okay! Teams of rovers can help each other, but a lone rover needs to be very careful.

This is the forth type of an active geared attachment. "Active" means that is is power by a motor. "Geared" means that it uses gears. "Reusable" means that you can easily extend the attachment with additional parts - eg - you can reuse it. It shows a basic principle of how power is transferred between different axles that have different orientation in space - like when one of the axles is horizontal and the other is vertical.
