This robot extends the Tetrix Box Robot chassis for FTC competitions with an additional arm. The arm could be used for lifting and placing objects and could be quite useful. 

There is a special rubber band at the end of the arm, because there are not enough parts in the Tetrix set and we had to use a rubber band. But the principle of the arm is interesting, useful and you should be familiar with it - the arm keeps the motors always in the right orientation.   

This LEGO Mindstorms Attachment has three gears, one frame and two axles. The goal of the attachment is to use the gears to change the direction in which the motion is transferred.

Background

For rovers in other worlds, getting stuck is definitely not okay! Teams of rovers can help each other, but a lone rover needs to be very careful.

The robot or whatever agent-craft it sends out needs to cross the craters model completely, by driving directly over it. Not near it. Not around it.

• All weight-bearing features of the crossing equipment must cross completely between the towers. > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.

Building instructions for the Pinless Rubber Band Attachment:

This is the first type of an active geared attachment. "Active" means that is is power by a motor. "Geared" means that it use gears. "Reusable" means that you can easily extend the attachment with additional parts - eg - you can reuse it. It shows a basic principle of how power is transferred between different axles that have different orientation in space- like when one of the axles is horizontal and the other is vertical. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and could be used in competitions in robotics like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad and others. It's designed for Luly, small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions. This is a gun which is build from EV3 Lego Mindstorms set. It can load small EV3 Beams and shoot them.

Pallo, from Ancient Greek, means "to throw" or "to hurl"—a root of the modern word "catapult".

Pallo is a robot made of two parts. The first part is the catapult! It contains no electronic components and uses two rubber bands to launch a projectile toward the second part. The second part is the target. It features a color sensor which, using a piston with differently colored sections, detects how accurately the target has been hit. Good luck with the shooting!
